This wine journey stops for lunch at one of the nicest Priorat Restaurants. The current second generation in the family, has followed the legacy of his father and has raised it to a more organic and natural category. This winemakers bought this farm in the year 2000 and planted Grenache and Syrah, parted the vines, created a complex irrigation system making a vineyard academically perfect.
It was a fully working monastery until 1835, experiencing moments of great riches and splendour. During the seven centuries the monks lived here, they built mills and taught different farming techniques which included planting vineyards on the steep slate-based slopes of the region. Thanks to these monks, the Priorat is now famous for its wines.
